Per aspera ad astra v2
Humanity used to say per aspera ad astra, which translates to through hardships to the stars, which translates to grow through hard work.
Thankfully, the world has advanced.
1) Some people started hearing what other people said.
2) Some people wrote it down. Some people read what other people had written.
After about 1600 years of iterative development on point 1 and a further 400 years of iteration on point 2, we have reached this powerful mantra:
per disciplina, exercitatione et graduum emendationem ad astra
Which translates to
through discipline, routine and gradual improvement towards the stars.
If you take this advice serious, and if you decide to go this way, you can transform into a self-healing, observing, experimenting, measuring, designing, planning, productive & happy human being.
By discipline I mean stick to the plan.
By routine I mean you can design your own routines, your own checklists and do them.
By gradual improvement I mean plan, execute, see how it goes. Fix blocks and make plan v2. Repeat.
This is a holistic view. I have one useful book tip as a start: The Checklist Manifesto, by Atul Gawande, 2009, ISBN 978-0-8050-9174-8. For the rest; Today you can search for any information and you will find answers for your specific situation. Many good people have published good information. Pick what you need and build. When you cannot manage it, take a break, reflect, pull yourself together and try again. Find out why you do not succeed and change the plan so you do. Noone can beat the one who never gives up. There are solutions for everything.
