Media

Media was a great invention in the 19th century when newspapers grew up.  As years have gone by have media played an instrumental role in giving good insight into hitherto undisclosed businesses in organisations.  This includes legal and other practices by management, on all levels; country, state, county, institutions, for big business and local businesses alike.

As Trump came into the spotlight, so did fake news.  We were once again reminded of using media in a restrictive way.  Not all they give is well-curated news.  Most media sources have a certain political angle, underlying their reports.  This influence may be weak or strong.  A newspaper where many years of experience are looking through an article and polishing it, may produce articles of more objective nature.  A newspaper with a public and conscious political angle will produce articles of more subjective nature.

Media can disclose parts of the truth.

Media can disclose the whole truth.

Churchill supposedly said; "They can fool us, but not all of us, all the time, everywhere", or something like that.

Today is very much a solo battle.  One self versus Media world.  You have been given the freedom to choose not to be fooled.
